We are Deacon Appliances & during our T&Cs we will use the term "we" or "our" & these imply Deacon Appliances in these statements.
We are very passionate about our shop & our Customers, so we will not tolerate any form of Abuse!
We also reserve the right to refuse sale & entry to anyone who verbally or physically abuses anyone inside or outside our shop.
CCTV is used in & around our shop & it is there for our safety & for our customers safety too.
OUR PRODUCTS:
Many of our products are Refurbished & Graded.
We have Graded information on hand & clearly visible around the shop.
Refurbished items are clearly marked with stickers so you will always know what you as a consumer are purchasing.
Great care & dedication has been taken by all to make sure that all our Appliances are clean & in fully working order.
WARRANTY:
In the unlikely event that you have a problem with your purchase, We offer a 90 Day warranty on Refurbished & Graded items.
For the New items we sell we strongly advise that all New items are registered with the Brand Manufacturers Warranty & a record of this is kept.
Our 90Days Warranty covers all mechanical parts & electrics.
We reserve the right to Void the Warranty if appliances are used in the incorrect setting ie:
●outdoors/sheds etc...
●NON DOMESTIC use.
●Appliances incorrectly fitted.
●Repaires done by yourself or third parties. ●Incorrect parts used.
●Items that are shipped by courier or a third party delivery company.
●If appliances are shipped out of the UK & NI.
● Please note: Cookers MUST be installed by a qualified, registered electrician.
Not using a qualified electrician to fit an electric cooker (especially hardwired models) can lead to safety hazards like fires, voided insurance policies, and legal issues.
We also ask that Appliances are regularly checked to avoid:
●Surface damage.
●Damage to doors, draws & electrical sockets & components.
We also ask that drains, waste pipes & filters are also checked & cleaned frequently to avoid any damages.
●Our warranty doesn't cover transport back to the shop.
We will assess each case individually & will work with customers to reach the best outcome available.
●In the event an engineer is called out & the issue isn't covered under our warranty, there will be a £25 call out charge & any further repairs will be discussed on an individual basis.
***Please note: All repairs we do are under the original 90Day Warranty.
The 90Days will not reset & will be ongoing from the original Date of purchase.
FRIDGE FREEZERS, FRIDGES OR FREEZERS:
Please allow these to stand for 6-8 hours before switching the power on.
Failure to do this may result in your Warranty being Voided & the Appliance not working at full capacity.
RECIPETS & INVOICES:
We would like to ask all customers to please keep Recipets & Invoices safe.
This is beneficial for yourself & for us.
With these we can respond quicker & book repairs in quickly, making things move smoothly for all parties.
Unfortunately we are extremely limited if we do not have these & we cannot verify a correct purchase date.
DELIVERY:
●Delivery is from Store to Front Door.
●We will try to accommodate all Deliveries & Deliveries will be need to be booked in advance.
●We recognise some Deliveries can be difficult & we strongly advise discussing this with us in advance.
●Deliveries are provided at additional costs & will be subject to Changes & Delays.
●Deliveries out of LE postcodes can be provided at an additional charge.
●For Deliveries please make sure we have all your correct communication information & the best way to contact you.
●Deliveries are all day slots unless pre-agreed.
●Same day deliveries are subject to a premium charge.
***Please note: We use a large Van for our deliveries & this can unfortunately block paths, driveways & the local roads.
We do our best to make sure deliveries are safe & efficient.
Your understanding goes along way during these situations.
●Delivery Fees are non refundable if cancelled on the same day & will be subject to our discretion.
RETURNS:
●Change of mind returns will be accepted, as long as the items are in the same saleable condition, this is items that are fit & or suitable to be sold again once returned.
●Items returned will be refunded as a credit note minus any delivery fees.
●Returns with Damage will be assessed on an individual basis & any damages will be deducted from original price.
●Returns/collections from outside of the LE postcodes will be individually assessed & pre-agreed at our discretion.
●Returned Faulty items will be offered a like for like swap & will be assessed on an individual basis at our discretion.
SALES:
Cash sale are welcomed & we will only accept ENGLISH POUND STERLING,All card payments will be ENGLISH POUND STERLING
& Cedit notes are also valued at ENGLISH POUND STERLING.
We can also offer PAYMENT ON DELIVERY at Our discretion & if pre-agreed.
BANK TRANSFER is also avaliable at our discretion.
ALL SALES ARE ENGLISH POUND STERLING ONLY & WILL NOT BE NEGOTIABLE.
A Friendly Notice:
●Refurbished/Graded washing machines will not be supplied with a Water pipe.
●Water pipes are available to purchase instore or online if 1 is required.
●Some washing machines will come with Hot & Cold fixtures & may need a Y splitter, This will not be supplied by us & 1 will need to be purchased before Fitting, these are available to purchase instore or online.
●We recommend putting Washing machines through a Hot wash cycle before 1st use.
●Please measure all areas before purchasing any of our items, Items come in different sizes & some may be too small or too big for your intended space.
●COOKERS DO NOT COME WITH ANY CONNECTIVE ELECTRICAL WIRES (Components for Connecting)
●Cookers MUST be installed by a qualified, registered electrician & the correct Connecting wires purchased.
●Our opening times are subject to change & closures. We will always update our social sites like Facebook with any changes to minimise any inconveniences this may cause.
●Please keep small & young child from touching our Appliances & Thier safety is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
●Please keep any animals on Leads or in thier containers & you may be asked to leave if pets do not behave or they are causing distress to other members of the public.
●We ask that if you would like to see & know more about any of our Appliances, you ask a member of staff to safely show you & talk you through the features, we are happy to help & want our customers to ask any questions & we will always answer the best we can.
